Direct to Garment printing (or DTG for short) is an amazing top of the line option when you’re looking for just a few items. We have been printing DTG items for years and this option allows our customers to print special shirts for parties, vacation, holidays or just because! And while we can print multiple of the same item, DTG is a bit slower as each shirt is printed one by one, so this process is typically reserved for small orders.
With DTG, you are not limited to the amount of colors that can be printed like with screen printing though. DTG is very similar to a standard computer printer in that it can print anything from simple words to photographs with precision, but on clothing!

DTG
Our DTG printer does work best on cotton apparel. The apparel is loaded onto a platen which is then pulled into the machine where your image is printed by injecting a series of inks right into the fibers of the garment. Cotton fibers are the best option for soaking in those inks and will offer the brightest and most vibrant print. While we can also print on blends, because the inks adhere best to cotton, the result is a more vintage/muted look, so keep that in mind when choosing your apparel.
DTG is a very specialized way to print apparel on a much smaller scale and is the perfect option to offer our customers unlimited options when it comes to smaller quantities and endless colors!
